After 3 months on the market, in probably the worst real estate market in my lifetime, in the slowest time of the year for home sales, I sold my house!

Just a couple weeks after my wedding, I closed on my house on December 30.  All the pieces are falling into place perfectly.

All things considered, I feel that I was very fortunate to sell the house in this economy.  I purchased my house back in 2006, at perhaps the height of the real estate bubble.  While I was able to sell it for slightly more than I paid, I consider it as simply breaking even.

The house was in great shape, only being a few years old.  With the addition of designer-selected paint colors, and an impressive home theater, the house was desirable to the right that I was lucky enough to have appear.

I have to give a shout out to my realtor, Melissa Brown of Helen Adams Realty.  She did a great job of marketing the house, and is very diligent in her job.
