christmas in savannah

posted by Michael Piwonka 6:26 PM
Martha and I spent a few casual (and unseasonably cold) days in Savannah, GA, during the week between Christmas and New Years.

I had never been there before, and it had been many years since Martha was last there, so we thought it would be a fun trip. The city is as beautiful as advertised, and I enjoyed walking around in the historical district, viewing the famous city squares.

I was not familiar with SCAD, Savannah College of Art and Design, but I was very impressed by it. I immediately thought of Allie, as she sometimes shows interest in art and design (though at this point, she appears heading toward an education in music).

I would suggest a nice, relaxing visit to the historic district of Savannah for everyone, particularly as a get-away for a small group.

random. arbitrary. completely unnecessary. yet refreshingly therapeutic.
