5th grade production

Allie's 5th Grade show was last Thursday; I was able to view the last of the three performances.

The show revolved around life on and around the Mississippi River from the perspective of Mark Twain. Mr. Twain and wife narrated the show, which included song, dance, and humor from the late 1800's to early 1900's. (Certain liberties were taken with the time line of the show, helping to make the vignettes more entertaining.)

All the actors were dressed in period costume, and Allie looked cute with her hair in a bun on the top of her head. She sang in the "choir" that supported all numbers, and performed a number as part of a quartet.

The show was wonderful, as are all the shows that the school puts on. The kids were all proud and relieved to be finished once the last performance was finished.

random. arbitrary. completely unnecessary. yet refreshingly therapeutic.
