flag football

Yesterday I enjoyed Mason's flag football game. It's interesting to watch the kids as they attempt to carry out the plays the coach, who's on the field with the players, gave them just seconds before.

There is no rushing, so the defense just waits for the offense to come at them. Misdirection plays work almost everytime, as the defense can't seem to remember to stay in their places; it seemed that every reverse resulted in a touchdown.

Mason's team lost, but he appeared to have fun nonetheless.

random. arbitrary. completely unnecessary. yet refreshingly therapeutic.
