first day of school

For reasons unknown to me, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools decided to have the first day of the new school year on a Friday. Regardless of why they would pick a Friday, the kids enjoyed meeting old and new friends, and checking out the renovated Sharon Elementary School.
I am looking forward to scheduling a lunch with each of them soon so I can spend time with them and check out the new school also.Labels: children
