I had previously created a forum that was accessible via this website. I created the forum more as an experiment to see how to do, than as anything I would actually use. I haven't had a link available to it for perhaps a year, so its existence was basically a secret from the casual surfer.
However, automated web-crawlers have found it, and often sign-up as members of the forum. Interestingly, most of those automated members were from online poker sites, with the intention of publicizing the existence of their sites.
Because I never used the forum, and because I was getting these uninvited members, I decided to remove the forum altogether. I may create another one someday should I have a legitimate need for one.Labels: website
