I'm glad to see Alan Greenspan is finally using stronger language when discussing the dangers of the ever-increasing U.S. deficit. While I personally don't take him too seriously, I know a lot of other people do.

Hopefully his influence will get people's attention, and perhaps public opinion can be swayed toward reversing Bush's incredible spending habits. I used to think of the Republican party as the party of fiscal responsibility, but they have taken liberal spending to new heights.

Bush continues his rhetoric of cutting taxes, all the while spending like he has an unlimited supply of tax revenue. While I'm not a fan of politicians who tax and spend excessively, I'm less a fan of politicians who borrow and spend excessively. Eventually America's dependence on credit will be its downfall.

Where did common sense go?

random. arbitrary. completely unnecessary. yet refreshingly therapeutic.
