We've been enjoying the weekend in Woodstock, Georgia, visiting my in-laws. The kids also have been having fun playing with their cousins.

Penny and Randy came on Thursday, bringing Oliver with them, while I stayed in Charlotte so the kids could finish the school week.

However, Allie was sick Thursday night, which meant that both of us were up most of the night. Friday morning Allie was still feeling bad, so I stayed home with her after getting Mason to school. She and I napped on Friday since we were so tired from the previous night.

Once Mason got home from school, we all packed into the car and drove to Woodstock. Allie has still been a little under the weather, but I think she's doing better.

I've spent the majority of the day working on the Governor's Square Homeowner's Association website. We need to advertise it's presence when we distribute the neighborhood phone directories, so I've been working to make sure it's presentable by next weekend.

At lunchtime, we took a trip over to Penny's grandmother's house, Nanny, and also visited Penny's aunt Fonda. Everyone seemed to enjoy Oliver.

We had a wonderful meal this evening, featuring beef tenderloin. Penny's dad started a 500-piece jigsaw puzzle today, and everyone has been contributing to its completion; we're probably about a third complete as of tonight.

Tomorrow we'll be attending church with Penny's parents, having lunch together, then heading back to Charlotte.

random. arbitrary. completely unnecessary. yet refreshingly therapeutic.
