baseball

I'm settling in this evening to watch the Houston - St. Louis NLCS game 7. I'm hoping that the Astros manage to pull this thing out.

Regardless, it has already been a spectacular baseball week. Could it get any better than having the multi-million dollar Yankees choke their 3-0 series lead? And what's better, against their longtime rivals, the Boston Red Sox?

Being to first team to blow a 3-0 lead couldn't have happened to a better team than the Yankees.

Unfortunately, I fear the Yankees will be attempting to buy even more talent this offseason, namely Carlos Beltran of the Astros. Is there any limit to their checkbook?

UPDATE:

Well, the Astros fantastic late season run has come to an end. St. Louis won game 7 5-3. But it was fun, nonetheless.

And most importantly, the Yankees had the biggest meltdown in baseball history! Did I mention that before?

random. arbitrary. completely unnecessary. yet refreshingly therapeutic.
