softball championship

We won the championship game by a lopsided score of 22-5, ending the season undefeated.

There has been talk that perhaps we should play in a higher level league, given our dominance of this league. However, since all games are played at the same (convenient) location in this league, I don't think the team will decide to change. Traveling all over town to go to games will reduce the number of players who make it to each game.

In any case, it was a lot of fun. And even though we were definitely better than the other teams, the team we defeated in the finals (for the third time this season) commented that we were a very gracious and pleasant team to play.

Perhaps the best part of the league was the post-game hitting by everyone's children. The kids enjoyed running the bases as the adults bumbled every ball they hit.

random. arbitrary. completely unnecessary. yet refreshingly therapeutic.
