winter wonderland

posted by Michael Piwonka 9:23 PM
As of this morning, we've received between 15" and 18" of snow. While it has shut the city down, it's very pretty to look at.

It's easiest to appreciate how much snow we received by looking at this patio table. The local weather says this is the biggest snow storm in 16 years.

Allie and Mason had fun making snow angels.

Other pics we like are the street view, the swingset, cleaning the slide off, and building a snowman.

I'd never shoveled snow before, and once was good enough for me. It took me a couple of hours to go from this to this.

It's supposed to warm up this weekend, so all this snow should be gone soon.

random. arbitrary. completely unnecessary. yet refreshingly therapeutic.
